Concept
A short film capturing the delicate space between communication and synchronicity. Exploring the connection between lovers, the exchange inevitably leaves one bleeding more.
This needle play performance transforms physical pain into a shared ritual, embodying connection, vulnerability, and the impossibility of perfect reciprocity. Two performers pierce each other’s chests, threading a red string between them and moving slowly to test the tension, before cutting and removing the thread. The red thread operates both as a literal binding and as a symbol of attachment, presence, and emotional exchange.
